OVERVIEW

This class is designed to instruct actors in the specific craft of working with the camera. It is ideal for actors at earlier stages of their training. Working on scenes from film and television scripts, actors are taught skills for screen performance, such as physical and emotional continuity, building up to and sustaining a performance level, and working with the technical constraints of the camera.

CONTENT

Screen performance requires specific skills and practice. This class is an opportunity for actors to learn about the demands of screen acting, while improving their craft through scene work. This will lead to greater ease when working in front of the camera.

Actors will explore how to make the most of their auditions, to be bold and make exciting choices in front of the camera and make the most of a guest role in a series. Actors are best served by being relaxed, uninhibited and dynamic in the performance space.

By working scenes on camera every week, this course will give actors greater confidence at auditions and on a film set.

This class is capped at 12 actors to ensure you work on camera each week.
