Youth Program 2021

yp

We are committed to developing the unique acting potential of young people in an exciting and supportive environment. Our aim is to provide teenagers with the acting skills and confidence to pursue their dreams.

The Youth Program empowers young actors to find and use their voice to tell stories they are passionate about.

The Youth Program nurtures talent, courage and resilience in the actors we train to have the confidence to be uniquely themselves and be as expressive and creative as they have the capacity to be.

We foster positive and healthy self esteem in young actors so they are capable of meeting professional and personal challenges with balance and grace.

16th Street Actors Studio is an internationally acclaimed training studio and actors are exposed to the world’s most highly regarded acting techniques.

16th Street Actors Studio’s patron, Deborra-Lee Furness and her husband, Hugh Jackman, passionately support our studio and young people in the arts. Like us, they believe in supporting young people to develop a healthy relationship with themselves and to give them every opportunity to develop a sense of fulfillment and to have a successful future in the arts and in life.

Our Programs are run and taught by experienced industry professionals.
