This one-day workshop is specifically designed to support actors, directors, and other creative practitioners and leaders in effectively navigating intimacy within performance contexts. Led by Eve Morey, a professional intimacy coordinator, the session will begin by clearly defining the concept of ‘intimate content’ and exploring its role in storytelling. Participants will engage in content focused on negotiating consent, choreographing intimate physicality, and clarifying narrative intentions - tools essential for fostering a safe and respectful creative environment.

These processes can be integrated into the workflow of a production to foster safe creative spaces that acknowledge and honour performers’ boundaries, whist whilst unlocking the dramatic potential and enhancing creative storytelling.
