MASTERCLASS BREAKDOWN

  • DAY ONE begins with useful, practical games, introducing Connection.

    Actors learn verbatim monologues in preparation for the class. On-camera exercises and anchors introduce the worlds of Internal Landscape, Vista and Objects to develop and enrich this work. Scene-work is prepared for the following day. Actors are constantly offered fresh tools and techniques to prepare and sharpen their work.

  • DAY TWO we meet Space, Objects and Journey to complete the on-camera monologues and share the scenes, using deft rehearsal tools to lift the work up and empower you as you discover new aspects of your own power as an actor.

    Throughout the two days Miranda refreshes with slide-shows and case-studies, keeping the work focused and relevant to your professional practice. On Sunday, there will be an additional Q&A opportunity from 5.00 pm to 6:00 pm.

A Film London Lodestar, Miranda is one of the world’s top teachers.

Tickets will be checked upon entry. Saturday tickets are only valid for 25/02/2023. Sunday tickets are only valid for 26/02/2023. It is encouraged to purchase the weekend ticket as there will be new topics, advice and insight for both days.
