THE BRITISH WAY

WITH HARRY HAYNES, IAIN SINCLAIR & GUEST UK MENTORS, COACHES AND CASTING DIRECTORS

16th Street Actors Studio returns with our distinctive 10-week postgraduate program, designed to spearhead actors into the global market - and in 2025, it's The British Way.

The British acting tradition is one of the most rigorous, textured, and globally influential. From the stages of the West End to cutting-edge British television and cinema, Australian actors continue to make their mark in the UK.

Over ten weeks, you will explore the dramaturgy of Britain’s greatest playwrights, sharpen your craft in relation to class and culture, gain proficiency in essential UK accents, and prepare a tailored showcase of British material. The program culminates in a performance to an invited audience of industry professionals.

The British Way has been designed to equip you with the skills, insight, and professional readiness needed to confidently work in UK productions - whether you're acting in the UK or bringing British projects to life in Australia.
