MASTERCLASS BREAKDOWN

  • DAY 1:

    Begins with useful, practical applicable exercises to create connection. Actors learn verbatim monologues and scripted scenes in preparation for the class. On-camera work introduces Miranda’s key concepts of Internal Landscape, Vista and Journey. Actors are constantly offered fresh approaches and techniques to prepare and sharpen their work.

  • DAY TWO:

    We complete the on-camera monologues and share the scenes, using fast, practical tools to lift the work up and empower you as an actor. Throughout the two days Miranda will refresh and inspire you with slide-shows and case-studies, keeping the work focused and relevant to your professional practice. 

    Quantum physics and science, art, architecture, sculpture, sport, science, and psychology illuminate practical pathways to acting excellence.

AUDITING TICKETS

At 16th Street, we offer 'auditing tickets' for masterclasses. An auditing ticket allows someone to attend and observe the class without participating. Auditor tickets allow attendees to gain insights from the class, watch the expert teach, and learn new skills without full enrolment.

As an auditor, you will have the opportunity to watch Miranda work with the actors. This will deepen your understanding of craft and technique.

This Masterclass will ensure a dynamic experience for participants and auditors alike.

    Please note, we will be running an extension class on December 14th. This is only open to artists who have worked with Miranda previously in either a workshop or professional setting.

    This course is ideal for graduates and professional actors over the age of 18.

    This course is available for up to 14 participants.
