PLAY THE GAME, The Art of Complicité
WITH FABIO MOTTA
In this 3-day acting intensive, actors will experience the legendary work of French master teacher Philippe Gaulier, influenced by his flagship course Le Jeu, meaning "the game" in French. Philippe has long inspired the work of actors such as Emma Thompson, Kathryn Hunter, and Sacha Baron Cohen.
In this intensive, actors will focus on the art of Complicité - meaning to bring your authentic self to the stage and screen. This methodology places actors at the centre of the rehearsal process, giving you a spontaneous connection to your fellow actors and the audience. The workshop will give you the tools to find impulsivity and complexity in your work, letting the text come crackling to life through the art of Le Jeu.
It’s called PLAY for a reason! Develop boldness, joy, and a sense of ease in your work.
